Kentucky Get Fit for FREEDOM 2010!

     

Master Tung Dinh of Quest Fitness Center in Murray, Ky., will be traveling to Washington, D.C., to do 35 hours of sit-ups. Beginning April 30 at 8 a.m. and concluding May 1 at 7 p.m.
This will be done in observance of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month and in honor of his FREEDOM! This will kick-off the month-long celebration which begins nationally on May 1, 2010!



Accompany Master Dinh to Washington, D.C.
Everyone can get involved in this two-day event. Simply register and do one minute of sit-ups between April 30 and May 1. Get your friends together and celebrate fitness and freedom. Take photographs or video to showcase your participation and post to our Facebook page.

 

Since 1983, May has been observed as National Physical Fitness and Sports
Month. Individuals and organizations everywhere have joined in the fun to promote
awareness of the value of physical activity in the pursuit of happier, healthier, more
productive lives. To further this vital mission, the President’s Council on Physical
Fitness and Sports reached out in 1994 to both public and private organizations to
form the Presidential Fitness Partners in May. By working together in this partnership,
our individual health and fitness messages will achieve increased public resonance.
